In the spirit of the new year I have resolved to do something that scares me…post something for anyone to see on the internet…on a regular basis. I have been debating about starting a blog for my Footwear, Bag, and Accessory business, WillisKa, for months. I decided when the ball dropped and we rang in 2016, it was time to start.
I read books on blogs and blogs on books to help me decide what type of blog I should start. My mind was full of ideas, but nothing really stood out as something I could embrace on a weekly basis (that’s my goal). And then I saw a friend’s post about completing her 365 day challenge. Could I do something like that? Could I be held accountable to complete a challenge if I put it out for anyone to see? I think so!
Challenge accepted!
I decided I would create 52 Bags in Fifty2 Weeks. My goal is to make 52 bags in 2016. This doesn’t mean I will be making 1 bag per week, a girl needs some time off every now and then…even if I am starting my own business. What it does mean is I will be making 52 bags this year…some weeks I’ll make a couple, some weeks only one, and some weeks…you guessed it…NONE!
When I complete this challenge I will have 52 bags that I can choose from and decide which ones I will produce to sell (hopefully with some help from your comments, etc.).

Update on April 20, 2016:
I haven’t made my blog posts public even though I have been working on them for almost 4 full months and have 16 posts…I’m determined to do so this week!
